This website was created based on the need I had to organize the most relevant information published about  the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela, as a tool for my Doctoral research in Mass Communication and Music at the University of Malaga.

This space has an automatic feed searcher for news about the SBYOV, its Conductor, Gustavo Dudamel, Venezuela’s musical education system known as “El Sistema”.  And its founder José Antonio Abreu.

What is the purpose? To get a systematized database of what the international press publish on the SBYOV.  In this way, the Orchestra gets a tool that consolidates into a single website the different information that is generated in English globally, specialized public can access an environment to see the content generated by the orchestra and especially where they can participate by leaving comments and finally, I get a tool for my research.
